Gun Control in One Lesson

All gun control or gun “safety” laws can be summed up in the five following words:

Forced defenselessness by forced disarmament.

Gun control is when the government forces citizens, ironically at gunpoint, to either give up or somehow restrict access to their guns for self-defense without their consent.

Either way it disarms citizens by force and leaves them defenseless against stronger attackers at some point.

Either way it’s coercive.

All gun control laws are unjust because they violate the citizens’ rights to private ownership and self-defense.

The only just thing to do is to abolish them all.

Gun control doesn’t make people safer either.

The strongest evidence shows that the risk of more violent crime because of a gun control law outweighs the risk of more gun misuse without that gun control law.

So any gun control law is both unjust and dangerous.

None should exist.

That sums up gun control in one lesson.
